British Seizure on Romanian Royal Family

Prince Paul of Romania and Princess Lia are facing serious troubles: the seizure of their properties and assets in Britain, Wales and Romania, according to a sentence passed by the Queen’s Bench, of the British Supreme Court. Houses, stock and bank accounts belonging to the Romanian royal family are now targeted by bailiffs, on account of a 2 million Euros debt.

According to the British court, the Romanian royal family owes the above amount to Marco Houston, an editor for Royal Monthly – and also a person with prior conflicts with Romania’s royals. Houston has already hired a bailiff to execute the properties in Romania, according to Jurnalul Naţional. The Supreme Court has allowed Prince Paul the use of 2000 Euros weekly from his accounts. If the royals do not abide by the sentence, they might be subject to fines or arrest, claims Jurnalul Naţional.
