Trilateral Commission Summit to Begin in Bucharest

Almost 400 of the most powerful people on the planet are gathering in Bucharest, from October the 15th to the 17th. The Trilateral Commission (thought by many to be the “real world government”, along with the Council for Foreign Relations and the Bilderberg Group) is going to discuss matters such as nuclear disarmament. The guests will be welcomed by the prime minister himself, in an opening speach.

Many important people, amongst which former US president Bill Clinton, are expected to show up. Other major guests are the president of Goldman Sachs, the president of JP Morgan Chase, of British American Tobbacco, international bankers and media tycoons.

Romania is also represented in the Trilateral Commission, by the governor of the National Bank, Mugur Isărescu, and financier Mihai Tănăsescu.

The National Bank of Romania and Radisson Hotel are going to host the ceremonies. Among them, there will be a dinner, patroned by the head of state, president Traian Băsescu.
